Edinburgh CC Centenary Bonspiel
Saturday 28th January
We have 3 teams entered for the bonspiel with game times at 9am, 11.30am and 7pm. Details will be emailed round shortly to confirm the team lists. The final will be played the following weekend on Sunday 5th February at 10am.
Midlothian Province Bonspiel
Monday 30th January
6pm - playing against DAFS
8pm - playing against Gogar Park
John Frazer is organising the teams.
District Medal
Sunday 5th February - 10am
This will be against Haddington - let John know if you're interested in playing.Â
Double Rink Championship
Saturday 18th February - 10am
John is looking for 2 teams for the decider against Lothian & Borders Police. The winners will go to National Finals in Stranraer next December....
Edinburgh CC Centenary Dinner
Saturday 25th February
We have had a great response to this and around 20 of us will be heading along. Start time is 7.00 for 7.30pm.Â
Wendy has everyone's tickets and a reminder / details will be emailed to all nearer the time.
Stranraer weekend
Friday 9th - Sunday 11th March
Andy C is organising a team to go down for one of the Stranraer weekenders - always a good trip and the North West Castle always make sure everyone is kept well fed and watered! Speak to Andy for info.
Closing bonspiel

John will send details nearer the time. There will no doubt also be a night out on the Saturday or Sunday as well - details nearer the time.

Happy New Year to you all. Â
Having collected all the score cards, we can now
advise the outcome of the winter and midweek leagues.
Winter League The winter league was won by Team Barr with 7 points. Â Playing alongside
Andrew were John Frazer, Alison Marr and Ben Thomas. Â Congratulations to
all.
The rest of the results for that league were:
Team Cameron - 6 points
Team Walker (Alan) - 3 points
Teams Hunter & G Walker - 2 points
Midweek League The midweek league has also been completed with only 3 games in this
league. Â Both teams were tied on points however on the basis of shots up, the
winning team was made up of subs for Gillian Howard, Andrew/Alan/Iain in
rotation, Eric and Louise. Â Congratulations!

You'll be glad to hear that we are spreading some knowledge within the club as to how to update the website so new content may appear in the near future if you're really lucky!

At long last, I have got around to sorting out all the options for club clothing. This doesn't happen often (I think maybe 2007 was the last batch), so get your orders in while you can for this olympiad occasion! I've attached a document showing details, prices, sizes etc for all the options we agreed at the AGM back in June. You can also order from a huge array of other attire all shown on Image Scotland's on-line catalogue. Again, details are attached. If you were at the AGM you may recall that we can only get our black & white rugby tops with a minimum order of 6. If you'd like one of these, let me have your order details, and also any alternative you'd like in case we don't reach the minimum amount. I'll let you know shortly after the 10th September whether or not we have enough to put in an order and will confirm the money due either for your rugby top, or alternative. Hopefully all the details you need are attached, but if you have any queries, please let me know. All order forms to be returned by 10th September please, and payment will be required 14th September, in advance of orders being placed with Image Scotland and Halbro.
